In 61 AH, Imam Hussain (a.s), the beloved grandson of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), stood almost alone against the massive and oppressive army of Yazid to protect the core values of humanity and Islam.
His supreme sacrifice, along with his family members and 72 devoted companions, teaches us to never bow down to oppression, no matter the cost. Karbala is the ultimate victory of blood over the sword, leaving a legacy of courage for all mankind.
